Job Description

The Senior Solution Architect, D&T, S4 PPDS requires in-depth knowledge and experience and is accountable for collaborating with the D&T team in various locations to define, deliver and support IT enabled business solutions for S4/PPDS and also in APO in terms of Demand Planning (DP), SNP This role will also help determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for these areas. The role handles the delivery of S4 PPDS / APO systems including project delivery, system configuration and enhancement plus production support in alignment with client and company policies and procedures will be your main focus.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and govern end-to-end supply planning architecture across: Demand Planning → SNP → PP/DS → Execution
  • Lead/ Participatein the design of: S/4HANA PP/DS embedded solution
  • APO SNP (CTM / Optimizer / Heuristics)
  • Integration between ERP, MES
  • Establish global planning templates and harmonized design principles.
  • Ensure system design supports: Multi-plant planning
  • Constraint-based scheduling
  • Capacity leveling
  • Shelf-life / batch planning
  • Provide technical leadership for CIF/integration models and master data harmonization.
  • Support global rollout strategy (plant-by-plant deployment).
  • Conduct architecture reviews and design governance checkpoints.
  • Assess system readiness and go-live risk mitigation.
  • Partner with Digital Business Integration (DBI) Leads for: Planning
  • Manufacturing
  • Customer Success
  • Translate business requirements into scalable system designs.
  • Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, client policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
  • Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with client policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids.
  • Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Information Systems required
  • Minimum 5 years 5-8 years of relevant experience required
  • Deep expertise in: S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS or SCM PPDS
  • SCM SNP ( CTM or Heuritistics )
  • Experience transitioning from APO to S/4HANA PP/DS.
  • MES integration experience
  • Experience in process manufacturing or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of MES integration.
  • SAP certification in PP/DS or Supply Chain Planning.
