Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent

Job Responsibility

Provide comprehensive paediatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings
Manage a broad range of paediatric conditions, including neonates, acutely unwell children, chronic illnesses, and behavioural disorders
Participate in the care of patients within a Level 2 Neonatal Unit, with access to tertiary support where required
Contribute to acute paediatric services, including emergency care and management of complex presentations
Participate in the on-call rota, including evenings and weekends, supporting continuous service delivery
Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient- and wh?nau-centred care
Engage in clinical governance, audit, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and allied health professionals
Contribute to service development and improvement of paediatric services across the region
