Job Description

A range of exciting opportunities have arisen to join our clients Multi-discipline medical team. You will be a highly valued member of the team bringing your expertise and skills in Lower Limb Orthopaedics. Our client is one of the UK largest independent sector healthcare providers and work in close partnership with the NHS to deliver more than 50 services throughout the UK. They provide high quality specialist care and excellent results for more than 50,000 patients each year. You will have access to great facilities in a well-structured and relaxed environment. Our client offers high quality day case treatment in a wide range of specialties and deliver excellent clinical care. The centre hosts a day surgery unit and out patients department which offers minor orthopaedic procedures. Whilst a typical Full Time working week will comprise of 40 hours (8 PAs), working patterns will be flexible over primarily a Monday to Saturday rota.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform orthopaedic surgical procedures and clinics on patients referred to the Hospital
  • Provide an onsite orthopaedic surgical service to meet the needs of patients treated
  • Work as part of a professional, friendly and compassionate team to ensure the patient’s treatment is of the highest standard

Requirements

  • UK registerable Medical Degree
  • Past record of academic achievement
  • GMC Specialist Registration in relevant specialty or immediate eligibility for registration
  • FRCS(Orth) or European equivalent
