You will be a highly valued member of a professional, friendly, and compassionate clinical team, delivering planned surgical care to NHS, private, and insured patients within a modern, well-equipped hospital environment. The hospital provides high-quality treatment across a broad range of specialties, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, comfort, and enhanced recovery. A typical full-time working week comprises 40 hours, with flexible working patterns actively supported. Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality lower limb orthopaedic surgery and outpatient clinics
  • Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred care within a planned surgical setting
  • Work collaboratively as part of an on-site orthopaedic surgical service
  • Contribute to a day surgery unit and outpatient department offering minor orthopaedic procedures
  • Participate in a flexible working rota, primarily Monday to Saturday
  • Maintain professional standards through clinical governance, audit, and ongoing CPD

Requirements:

  • UK-registerable medical degree
  • GMC Specialist Registration in Orthopaedics (or immediate eligibility)
  • FRCS (Tr & Orth) or European equivalent
  • Significant experience in Lower Limb Orthopaedic surgery
  • Strong academic and clinical track record
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary working
  • Excellent communication and professional collaboration skills
