Job Description

The Consultant will help identify existing business processes that need to be addressed through ERP and EPM implementation projects. The consultant will use information provided by the client, combined with industry expertise in finance, accounting, and enterprise systems, to recommend and deliver the most effective solutions. The Consultant is responsible for providing a consultative approach to the successful and timely implementation of Oracle Cloud software solutions. The primary responsibility is to ensure that implementation and integration processes run smoothly from start to finish, identifying risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting implementations of Oracle Cloud solutions in line with best practices
  • Collaborating with customers to understand business requirements, define solutions, and achieve desired outcomes
  • Applying accounting, financial, operational, and system expertise to deliver business transformation projects
  • Managing the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM solutions
  • Performing business process analysis and identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation
  • Providing analysis and recommendations on project phases, milestones, risks, and overall progress
  • Working independently on large and complex functional and technical projects
  • Communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and translating complex business and technical concepts into practical solutions
  • Ensuring accounting and financial reporting requirements are properly reflected in system design and configuration

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience performing accounting functions, including financial statement preparation
  • Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience implementing ERP and/or EPM solutions working as a Key User o SME
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and business processes
  • Experience working in international environments and with global customers
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting complex concepts and resolving issues with senior management
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a consultative manner
  • Experience identifying process improvements and implementing more efficient business solutions
  • Preference for working UK business hours

Nice to have

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud applications, including Oracle ERP (AFCS, AHCS, GL, FA, AP, AR) and Oracle EPM (FP&A, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS/ePCM, PBCS/ePBCS)
  • Background in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Transformation, or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience delivering finance transformation, reporting, consolidation, planning, budgeting, reconciliation, or accounting process improvement projects
