Job Description:

We are looking for a Consultant to join our Investment Governance Team. The purpose of this newly created role is to work with clients on a broad range of investment governance-related issues. These clients include superannuation funds, insurers, charitable foundations, and other institutional investors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Actively participate in thought leadership and the research process, including the preparation of due diligence documents, report writing and marketing materials relating to investment governance
  • Lead matters relating to investment governance with client teams at both large complex superannuation clients and boutique clients such as family offices, charities and foundations
  • Providing high quality and timely consulting advice to clients for investment governance related matters including regulatory and market-related updates
  • Review (or establish) valuation governance frameworks and providing recommendations, value-adding feedback and assessment relative to regulatory expectations

Requirements:

  • Experience working with policy of APRA and ASIC
  • Relevant experience within compliance and or governance
  • A sound, working knowledge of current, relevant investment governance legislation and compliance requirements
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and an ability to work in, and contribute to, a team environment by working co-operatively and effectively in an environment of mutual respect
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels
