Job Responsibility

Support and further develop the frailty and interface services across the Emergency Department and acute wards
Contribute to the integration of hospital and community-based care through close collaboration with local health and social care partners
Lead, mentor, and supervise junior medical staff to ensure excellent training and professional development
Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit, research, and service improvement projects
Take an active role in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate trainees, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
Engage in departmental quality improvement initiatives and contribute to shaping frailty and elderly care services across the region
Conduct regular ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings within Medicine for the Elderly
Support the delivery and ongoing development of frailty models of care, including SDEC and short-stay units
