Job Description:

For our global client from the Life Sciences & Healthcare Consulting industry, we are looking for a Consultant with strong experience in health economic modelling to support advanced HTA and market access projects. This role is dedicated to supporting health economic evaluations, modelling activities and HTA submissions. A key requirement is hands-on experience developing economic models aligned with NICE guidelines and direct involvement in submitting such models to NICE. You will contribute to evidence generation strategies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across market access, HEOR and consulting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, validate and interpret health economic models (CEA, cost–utility, budget impact, etc.)
  • Lead the modelling component of HTA submissions, particularly to NICE
  • Conduct literature reviews, data synthesis and evidence analysis supporting model inputs
  • Prepare documentation, technical model reports and submission materials
  • Translate modelling outcomes into clear insights and value messages for clients
  • Participate in client meetings, explaining model structure, assumptions and outputs
  • Collaborate with HEOR, market access and consulting teams to support end-to-end project delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • postgraduate degree in health economics, statistics, epidemiology or related field is a strong advantage
  • Mandatory experience developing an economic model submitted to NICE
  • Solid knowledge of NICE guidelines, UK HTA processes and payer expectations
  • Experience with economic modelling techniques (CEA, CUA, BIM, scenario analyses)
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with complex datasets and modelling tools
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management skills
