Job Description:

In this position, you will join our Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects. A Site Mechanical Engineer is a senior Engineer that is noted as either having specific technical expertise or as a competent project leader for multiple teams. You will be able to interact with internal and external clients at a middle to senior level and be forming relationships with those clients to the extent that they are asked for by the client for future work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Site Inspection as requested by the client
  • Ensure that all works carried out meet company's quality standards and requirements
  • To co-ordinate with clients, sub-contractors and workers on all project aspects to ensure smooth and timely implementation
  • Support Project Manager and Engineers
  • Ensure project specifications are fulfilled & that company regulations are being adhered to
  • Ensure good Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out at all times
  • Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • > 7 years' experience in project delivery prior to attaining this level
  • Demonstrate the ability to use their initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a high level
  • Hold the Engineering license

  • Participate in customer requirements and specification reviews with a cross-functional group, including Marketing and Operations, prior to quote delivery
