Job Description:

Full-Time Consultant Anaesthetist role with one of the UK’s largest independent sector healthcare providers, delivering services to NHS, private and insurance patients. The role involves joining a small team of dedicated clinicians striving for excellence, with a focus on quality improvement, innovation, and developing high-quality patient services, including day-case major arthroplasty pathways and adherence to GIRFT ideals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Become an integral part of team of consultants led by Medical Director, Hospital Director and Senior leadership management team
  • Attend meetings
  • Contribute to teaching of centre staff
  • Focus on providing high standard of safe and effective patient care
  • Support NHS to reduce waiting lists

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the GMC’s specialist register of anaesthetists
  • Several years’ experience, at least 2 of which are within the UK
  • Commitment to own continuing medical education and professional development
  • Pride in quality of work
  • Well versed and involved in clinical governance and audit
  • Good team player
