Shape the Future of Healthcare with AI. Are you passionate about applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world challenges in medicine? We’re seeking a skilled Consultant AI/ML – GenAI, Medical Imaging & Computer Vision [F/M/X] to join a forward-thinking client at the forefront of healthcare innovation. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing and deploying cutting-edge deep learning models that improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. You’ll work on advanced image analysis for clinical applications—tackling complex 2D and 3D medical data from modalities like CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray. If you thrive on turning research into practice and want your work to have a tangible impact on global health, this is your opportunity. This position is published by Amaris Consulting, a trusted partner in technology and transformation. While you’ll be engaged through us, your work will directly support a high-impact client shaping the future of medical AI.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work hands-on with 2D/3D medical imaging data to develop robust, scalable AI solutions
  • Leverage PyTorch, Python, and MONAI to build and optimize models tailored to healthcare applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including data scientists, software engineers, and clinical experts—to integrate AI into production systems
  • Ensure model performance, reproducibility, and compliance with best practices in medical AI development
  • Contribute to version-controlled, well-documented code using Git and modern MLOps practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/deep learning models—through professional projects, research, or significant open-source contributions
  • Strong expertise in computer vision, medical imaging applications or Gen AI
  • Hands-on experience with image segmentation and classification in clinical or healthcare-related contexts
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, with deep experience in PyTorch and medical AI frameworks like MONAI
What we offer:
  • Contribute to impactful and innovative engineering projects across the Netherlands
  • Join an international consulting environment focused on growth, digital transformation, and continuous learning
  • Collaborate with major global industry leaders across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, and life sciences
  • Enjoy a hybrid work model with a blend of office and remote work
  • Work within a diverse, international network supported by global hubs and centers of excellence
