Job Description:

This role is for our Promat division, and delivers comprehensive technical support and advice during the construction phase for key customers, projects, and sectors. Senior technical support position requiring significant expertise and in-depth construction experience. Ability to make critical technical decisions independently, safely, and promptly.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver customer consultation on final technical execution to resolve unforeseen issues and complex on-site situations
  • Ensure system integrity where company products are used
  • Advise customers on how to meet warranty requirements
  • Travel to construction sites, customer locations, and head office as required to resolve technical issues and attend meetings
  • Provide clear technical guidance to customers and internal teams, instilling confidence in our solutions
  • Deliver project-specific technical guidance during construction for defined projects
  • Provide support for complex enquiries and review standard/bespoke details
  • Contribute to the development of FAQs and technical documentation across the UK for the full range of Promat and Etex solutions
  • Work closely with Drywall Site Technicians, Technical, and Commercial teams to provide exceptional support
  • Share technical insights to improve company offerings and services
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to update the wider team on technical issues and best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in the construction industry, ideally with knowledge of similar products used in project construction
  • Able to build trust and form strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Confident in explaining technical information clearly and persuasively
  • Focused on delivering practical, reliable technical support that meets customer needs
  • Enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others learn and grows
