A global energy and industrial organisation is expanding its renewable energy footprint across Germany and is seeking a Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is a key on-site leadership role responsible for coordinating daily construction activities, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with technical and quality standards. The role offers the opportunity to play a central part in the company’s renewable expansion across the German market.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes
Act as the primary site contact for the Project Manager on operational matters
Supervise subcontractors and ensure alignment with schedules and work plans
Manage short-term planning, daily coordination, and work sequencing
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, RAMS, and QA/QC standards
Promote and enforce HSE compliance and safe systems of work
Monitor progress, manpower, and productivity, identifying risks or delays early
Coordinate technical interfaces and escalate design or execution issues
Support commissioning preparation, inspections, and handover documentation
Provide clear reporting on site progress, risks, and resource requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years’ experience in large-scale construction projects (renewables or energy infrastructure preferred)
Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors
Strong understanding of German construction standards, QA/QC processes, and HSE requirements
Experience with planning, reporting, and site coordination
Valid German driving licence
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Willingness to travel and work across project sites in Germany
