The Superintendent is responsible for overall field execution of assigned projects, including jobsite safety, quality control, schedule performance, site logistics, and daily coordination with the General Contractor (GC), project team, and trade partners. This role ensures work areas are ready for delivery and installation, manages field documentation and required reporting, resolves install issues in real time, and drives punch list completion through closeout.
Job Responsibility:
Attend required project meetings and communicate decisions/action items to the internal team
Conduct weekly safety inspections and lead weekly toolbox talks
complete and submit all required safety/GC weekly documentation
Complete daily reports and any additional GC-required reporting/documentation accurately and on time
Coordinate all deliveries and staging, and pre-walk units/areas to confirm readiness prior to delivery and installation
Communicate constraints/hindrances with the GC and team
identify installation issues and drive solutions to maintain schedule and quality
Manage RFA reorders/replacements, including tracking, coordination, and follow-through
Manage GC-directed miscellaneous/extra work and document extra work for change management, tracking, and billing support
Coordinate countertop measuring, delivery, and installation sequencing
Manage cleanup/housekeeping and drive QC and punch list completion through closeout
Participate in reviewing project documents and shop drawings for constructability and content
Maintain/update project records such as RFIs, ASIs, and as-builts
Create/enforce site-specific emergency action plans with the PM
Coordinate building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agency inspections
Perform daily jobsite walks and submit daily safety audit reports
