A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred
equivalent work experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction with a commercial general contractor.
Strong knowledge of building processes, project management, and best practices.
Proficient with project management software including Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
OSHA 30 Certification preferred
ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to succeed in this role.

Job Responsibility

Administer and oversee the safety program for all subcontractors, serving as the on-site safety leader.
Maintain quality standards, keep daily logs of all activities and site conditions, and manage the punch list and closeout process.
Collaborate with the project manager to formulate project schedules and ensure sequence of installation is followed.
Build and maintain positive relationships with all subcontractors and enhance community connections for future opportunities.
Ensure accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, addressing emerging issues promptly to provide solutions.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Project Superintendent with a mid- to large-size commercial general contractor
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry
OSHA 30 and CPR Certifications (preferred)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Facilitate weekly progress meetings with the design team, trade partners, and internal stakeholders
Maintain and distribute jobsite documentation (Daily Reports, JSA’s, Inspections, Etc.)
Managing self performed activities to ensure that work is being performed within the established project budget, production, and schedule
