Seeking an experienced construction superintendent to lead commercial projects for an industry leader in this great direct placement opportunity. Our client is a leading commercial general contracting firm committed to delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. Job Responsibility

  • Administer and oversee the safety program for all subcontractors, serving as the on-site safety leader.
  • Maintain quality standards, keep daily logs of all activities and site conditions, and manage the punch list and closeout process.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to formulate project schedules and ensure sequence of installation is followed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all subcontractors and enhance community connections for future opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, addressing emerging issues promptly to provide solutions.

Requirements

  • A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred
  • equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction with a commercial general contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of building processes, project management, and best practices.
  • Proficient with project management software including Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred
  • ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to succeed in this role.
