Job Description:

Seeking an experienced construction superintendent to lead commercial projects for an industry leader in this great direct placement opportunity. Our client is a leading commercial general contracting firm committed to delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. Their dedicated team focuses on safety, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring that every project not only meets but exceeds client expectations. Job Responsibility:

Administer and oversee the safety program for all subcontractors, serving as the on-site safety leader
Maintain quality standards, keep daily logs of all activities and site conditions, and manage the punch list and closeout process
Collaborate with the project manager to formulate project schedules and ensure sequence of installation is followed
Build and maintain positive relationships with all subcontractors and enhance community connections for future opportunities
Ensure accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, addressing emerging issues promptly to provide solutions

Requirements:

A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred
equivalent work experience may be considered
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction with a commercial general contractor
Strong knowledge of building processes, project management, and best practices
Proficient with project management software including Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam
OSHA 30 Certification preferred
ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to succeed in this role
