Construction Solicitor

• manage a broad caseload involving construction-related litigation, adjudication, and alternative dispute resolution
• regular involvement in non-contentious work such as drafting and negotiating standard form contracts (e.g. JCT and NEC), bespoke agreements, collateral warranties, bonds, and letters of intent
• attending client meetings
• providing fast and pragmatic advice
• contributing to business development activities

• 1-3 years’ post-qualification experience in construction law
• experience assisting on construction disputes, including TCC litigation, adjudication, and mediation
• familiarity with the Pre-action Protocol for Construction and Engineering Disputes
• some experience drafting and negotiating JCT/NEC and bespoke contracts
• strong client-facing and drafting skills
• ability to manage competing deadlines and work both independently and within a team
• a genuine interest in construction and engineering law
• knowledge of energy law is a plus
