Job Description

A growing construction company is seeking a Safety Coordinator to help promote workplace safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and support field operations across multiple project sites. This position will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and leadership to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping teams operate safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans
  • Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
  • Coordinate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
  • Support OSHA reporting requirements and documentation
  • Assist with workers' compensation and injury reporting processes
  • Monitor project safety compliance and subcontractor requirements
  • Track certifications, training records, and safety metrics
  • Educate employees on safe work practices
  • Assist with new hire safety orientations
  • Promote continuous safety improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of construction safety experience
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification required
  • Experience conducting site inspections and safety audits
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Construction industry experience required
