As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring construction excellence across our projects. You’ll partner with project teams and field leadership to minimize defects, reduce rework, and uphold Findorff’s high standards. From QA/QC processes to building envelope investigations, your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will directly impact the success and quality of every build.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC processes
Ensure installations meet company standards, client expectations, and contract requirements
Perform site visits, first-install reviews, and ongoing inspections to verify quality compliance
Develop and maintain quality control checklists and site-specific instructions
Attend pre-task and coordination meetings, providing input on quality expectations and scope reviews
Document findings through detailed field reports and track quality issues through resolution
Conduct root cause analysis and document findings with clear recommendations and corrective actions
Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to execute warranty repairs and solutions
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of Findorff’s Quality Program
Develop and maintain quality documentation, templates, and best practices
Collaborate with internal teams (Preconstruction, VDC, MEP, Special Projects, etc.) to strengthen quality initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of construction experience
Understanding of building systems, construction materials, and methods
Experience with QA/QC processes and construction software preferred
Nice to have:
Exposure to building envelope systems, inspections, or forensics is a plus
