Job Description:

As a Construction Project Manager at IKEA, you are responsible for developing, executing, and leading construction projects with a focus on sustainability, retail, and real estate needs. You will collaborate internationally, work independently, and contribute to the company's renewable energy goals.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for all aspects of the construction process: from the first idea to implementation/execution and ultimately the transfer to the Facility Management organization
Provide support to the development of various projects for the departments such as Expansion, IKEA Food, Logistics and Facility
Lead projects falling under Real Estate, such as PV panel installations
Identify and implement solutions to meet sustainability goals, including making sites free of natural gas and oil
Work on renewable heating and cooling projects
Lead project teams consisting of construction parties and consultants.

Requirements:

You have knowledge and insight in the architectural and technical field
You have a passion for building
You have a bachelor/master with a major in (installation) technology, construction, architecture, environmental engineering or project development and you have min. 7 years of relevant work experience
You have a driving license type B and ideally you speak both national languages Dutch/French and English language well in word and writing
You recognize yourself in the following qualities: proactive, result-driven, strong in planning, operating independently and working under high work pressure, you show initiative, entrepreneurial and you like to think outside the “blue box”
You can communicate well.
