We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to lead construction projects across our Spain and Portugal portfolios. You will ensure that our assets are safe, sustainable, and future-ready, while enabling business growth and delivering an excellent customer experience. Job Responsibility
Lead end-to-end construction project management activities, from design and planning through execution and delivery
Manage internal collaboration with business stakeholders and coordinate external partners, including consultants, contractors, and authorities
Ensure an optimal balance of quality, cost, time, and sustainability across all projects
Drive project planning, budgeting, cost control, and risk management throughout the entire lifecycle
Lead procurement processes, including tenders, contract negotiations, and the selection of consultants and contractors
Ensure full compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards, including health and safety requirements
Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices in construction and project execution
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, authorities, and external partners
Collaborate and co-create to design solutions that balance functionality, cost, safety, and sustainability
Create customer value by ensuring our buildings are designed for the many people and deliver exceptional experiences
Work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships both internally and externally
Deliver solutions that meet business needs and enhance the customer experience
Inspire and provide clarity, helping others understand proposed design solutions and their benefits
Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Building Engineering, or equivalent)
10+ years of experience in construction project management for large and complex buildings
Strong technical background in construction engineering and building services (MEP systems) within tertiary sector developments (retail, offices, logistics, etc.)
Proven experience in end-to-end project management, including design, permitting, procurement, and construction delivery
Solid knowledge of procurement strategies, contract management, and negotiation
Strong project planning skills, including budgeting, cost control, and risk management
Good understanding of applicable regulations, safety standards, and sustainability requirements
Relevant experience in a large, complex, international, multi-site organization, preferably in high-volume retail or commercial real estate
