Job Description

We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager to lead convenience store remodel and capital projects across multiple states. This is a primarily office-based role focused on retail construction in active store environments and is best suited for candidates with experience managing projects through construction and execution, rather than design or engineering-focused roles.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage multiple retail remodel projects across several states
  • Create and Review scopes, drawings, budgets, and schedules
  • Bid projects and select contractors and vendors
  • Track costs, approve invoices, and manage change orders
  • Ensure timelines, quality, and design standards are met
  • Coordinate work in active retail store environments
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership and operations
  • Conduct occasional site visits as needed

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Experience with retail or multi-site remodels
  • Experience working in occupied commercial environments
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
  • PMP or OSHA certification
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to travel occasionally for site visits
  • Ability to walk job sites and stand for extended periods when needed
