As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned construction projects from early planning through to completion. You will ensure that each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to IKEA’s standards of innovation and sustainability. In this role, you will be based in the Service Office in Bratislava and report to the Area Real Estate Manager. Job Responsibility:
Leading the coordination between internal stakeholders and external partners (authorities, suppliers, contractors)
Managing project design, planning, permitting process, budgeting, procurement, and execution
Ensuring optimal project delivery in terms of cost, time, quality, and safety
Overseeing risk assessments and compliance, not only statutory but also internal company standards (IWAY and health & safety standards)
Supporting tender and procurement processes in close cooperation with the Procurement team
Continuously improving ways of working and implementing best practices
Requirements:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management (contracting, consulting, or investor-side)
Experience with procurement processes and contract negotiations
Understands how to lead complex construction projects from idea to delivery
Holds an academic degree in engineering or has equivalent professional experience
Communicates clearly and confidently in English and Slovak language
Nice to have:
Hungarian language is an advantage
