We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant energy infrastructure projects. Once operational, this project will have the capacity to power up to 600,000+ UK homes. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing renewable energy company at the forefront of the UK’s transition to net zero. As Project Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of this project - from pre-construction through to commissioning - before progressing to a pipeline of large-scale projects across the South West over the next 5 years+.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the delivery of the project, ensuring successful execution from pre-construction through to completion and operation
Manage project budgets, timelines, and reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic and technical objectives
Act as the key interface between on-site Construction Management and the wider project leadership team
Oversee EPC, ICP and DNO counterparties, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to specification
Monitor site progress, risk, safety and quality performance through regular reporting and site visits
Provide leadership and coordination for sub-contractors and third parties across all project phases
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental standards on site
Support value engineering, scheduling and problem-solving to maintain project momentum and performance
Report directly to the Senior Project Manager on progress, key milestones, risks and budgetary control
Requirements:
Experience managing large-scale construction projects within a principal contractor setting
Strong track record delivering projects with individual values exceeding £50 million
Solid understanding of construction management processes, project scheduling, and contractor coordination
Experience managing EPC, ICP and DNO stakeholders
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and maintain composure in complex, fast-paced environments
Background in Electrical or Civil Engineering advantageous
