Job Description:

Lead and manage all construction aspects of a specific building project from start to finish to secure delivery of a safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solution based on business needs.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage all construction aspects of a specific building project from start to finish
Ensure delivery of safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solution
Participate and contribute to development in the Cluster
Work and engage closely with Procurement and Engineering
Implement all Construction Project delivery strategies, methods and procedures
Secure that new properties are built to optimal lifecycle cost
Ensure external partners have up-to-date awareness of Construction frameworks
Secure that project budget estimates and time schedules are in place
Manage detailed architectural and engineering design
Provide technical and cost input to internal Ingka partners
Lead external and internal counterparts
Ensure satisfactory hand-over of completed areas
Ensure satisfactory commissioning, testing, training and hand-over of technical and building systems
Support and cooperate in construction projects within the cluster

Requirements:

Academic degree in engineering or equivalent working experience
Several years of experience in contracting and/or consulting and/or owners role involving construction projects
Experience within the retail sector is an advantage
Previous experience of procurement processes and contract negotiations
Previous experience of construction management on site
Proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
Preferable knowledge of Ingka construction standards and investment procedures
Business risk management knowledge
Project management knowledge
Construction management knowledge
Software relevant for Construction knowledge (MS Project, CAD manual, Projectplace, Hummingbird, AutoCad, Revit, Navisworks, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Cost control knowledge
Timeline management knowledge
Construction Procurement and Market knowledge
Permission process knowledge
Construction market, development & trends knowledge
Construction HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) knowledge
Property safety knowledge
Quality management in construction knowledge
Construction contracts and legal issues knowledge
Sustainable construction knowledge (BREEAM, LEED)

Nice to have:

Experience within the retail sector
Preferable knowledge of Ingka construction standards and investment procedures
