Seeking a Project Engineer with experience working on heavy civil projects to join our client's team in this great opportunity. Our client is a leading company specializing in heavy highway and paving construction. Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to develop and execute project plans and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with state and municipal regulations by supervising projects with qualified Sediment Control and Traffic Control Certifications
  • Monitor all project work, including subcontractors, to ensure adherence to safety standards in conjunction with the Safety Manager
  • Interpret and disseminate drawings, specifications, and technical information to the Project Team, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
  • Maintain compliance with engineering standards, codes, and design details throughout project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction management role, with a preference for heavy civil project experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is highly desirable
  • relevant work experience may be considered as a substitute
  • Proficient in various construction and office software applications
  • Familiarity with construction industry practices and regulations
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, and lifting (25 pounds frequently, 15 pounds occasionally)
