Job Description:

As Construction Project Buyer, you will join our European Procurement team to develop our general contractor positioning. Working on international turnkey projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support project teams in the application of purchasing procedures and policies
  • Identify and qualify partners for our projects (works companies, technical equipment suppliers...)
  • Manage consultations for all project packages in collaboration with the project direction and technical teams
  • Negotiate contractual conditions with our partners in collaboration with our legal department
  • Lead commercial negotiations of partner offers after having analysed them (benchmarking, price breakdown...)
  • Support our multi-country technical and purchasing teams by finding partners, factory audits, production monitoring, end-of-production tests, etc.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Purchasing
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within a construction company (General Contractor, CSA, HVAC or Electrical) with a purchasing scope of around 50 million euros
  • Strong sense of relationship and responsibility
  • Recognized communication skills and rigor
  • Keen sense of negotiation and strong analytical skills in an intercultural environment
  • Fluent in Greek and English
