Job Description:

If you're a procurement professional with experience in highways or civil infrastructure, this role is designed for you. You'll join a well-established highways infrastructure organisation and play a key role in delivering procurement across major transport programmes with long-term funding and visibility. You will sit within a mature procurement function and take ownership of construction procurement activity across subcontract, materials and services packages. You'll work closely with commercial and delivery teams, applying NEC and JCT contracts to deliver compliant, value-driven procurement outcomes and build strong supplier relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • support procurement delivery across major highways and transport infrastructure programmes
  • manage end-to-end procurement activity including sourcing, tendering and contract award
  • work with NEC and JCT contracts across subcontract and supplier packages
  • partner with commercial and project teams to deliver effective procurement outcomes
  • help improve construction procurement processes and best practice

Requirements:

  • construction or infrastructure procurement experience within highways or transport
