Job Description:

Construction Mechanical Completion Junior Engineer (Turnover Engineer) ensures the execution of all aspects related to mechanical completion, both in home office and at site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set up the construction / pre-commissioning / commissioning master ITP models
  • Cooperate with mechanical completion coordinator, engineering and commissioning team to ensure deliverables are in line with contractual requirements
  • Upload information in MILEMATE
  • Generate models necessary for reporting of site inspection for each TAG
  • Participate to the development of MM training program
  • Ensure the set-up the user account of nominated person of construction quality
  • Perform gap analysis between company master ITP models and the project approved ITP models
  • Verify the models applicability / family TAG gap analysis for construction phase
  • Validate the data collection uploaded in MILEMATE
  • Receive original punch list and assure their insertion in MM
  • Take care of the punch list progress
  • Take care of the provision of punch lists printouts to supervisors
  • Monitor discipline completion
  • Monitor field completion dossier status
  • Assign subsystems / check sheets to each components / TAGS
  • Participate to weekly meetings with construction / commissioning teams
  • Verify that all the punch points are properly characterized
  • Prepare all daily / weekly / monthly mechanical completion reports
  • Lead construction team to handover DAC
  • Lead commissioning team to handover MCC to the client
  • Issue DAC, MCC and RFSU with proper certificates and documents
  • Prepare the final dossier
  • Help the mechanical completion coordinator / engineers to populate the data into MILEMATE
  • Scan all the completed check sheets to MILEMATE
  • Insert / close the punch lists in MILEMATE

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience preferably within the construction or oil and gas industry
  • Relevant experience in 3 major EPC projects
  • oil & gas, petrochemical sector
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, management skills
  • Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
