Construction Manager

• Responsible for the daily oversight of in-house and contracted GCs during the course of telecommunications construction projects
• Ensures timelines are met, oversees and manages production, quality and deliverables
• Ensures safety practices are maintained on the job site and reviews GC’s job safety analysis (JSA) forms
• Candidate must provide accurate and timely updates to the Director of Construction
• A high level of professionalism must be portrayed at all times
• Review and redline CDs
• Perform bid walks
• Develop Scopes of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Submit permit applications and procure as needed
• Dimension crews and forecast project durations
• Manage crew schedules
• Manage multiple crews and multiple projects
• First level point of contact for customers and field crews
• Travel to projects as required (West Coast Region)

• Associate or Bachelors in a Technical/ Professional area
• Strong communications skills
• verbal and written
• Strong knowledge of MS-Office & MS-Project preferred
• Minimum OSHA10 training
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Must have a valid California’s driver’s license
• No DUI’s or major moving violations in the last 10 years and no more than 2 minor traffic violations in the last 3 years
• Must speak and write fluently in English
• Candidates must be legal residents or authorized to work in the US for any employer
• Work flexible hours and support night or weekend work as required
• 5 – 10 years experience
• Strong knowledge of civil and telecom construction in DAS, small cells and/or macro workspace
• Competent in reading CDs and possess strong skills in project scoping, assess project conditions and develop contingency plans as required
• Experience or strong knowledge in electrical systems and DC power plants
• Technical knowledge in current wireless infrastructure such as 4G, 5G, RF sweep and PIM requirements, fiber installation best practices and carrier-specific cabling schemes
• Candidate must be a good communicator and effective in personal time management
