Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. We are looking for a passionate individual to help build the network that powers the world’s largest online services. Within CO+I, Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsoft’s cloud business meeting all safety, quality, sustainability, schedule, and budget requirements. The Construction Manager provides critical leadership, ownership and accountability for the team's deployment and delivery of large-scale, campus delivery solutions to predictably deliver Datacenter capacity.
Job Responsibility:
Monitors approved project budgets and oversees project controls
Facilitates delivery of campus and metro‑based construction projects
Partners with CO+I and key Microsoft stakeholders to drive adoption of updated processes
Reviews engineering documentation, designs, and site plans
Represents Microsoft as a safety advocate
Oversees procurement and resourcing activities
Assists in tracking and reporting project progress
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
