Job Description:

Crusoe is expanding hyperscale, mission-critical data center campuses and is hiring an OFCI Manager to own the delivery and integration of Owner-furnished equipment on one of our flagship projects in Amarillo, Texas. This role is accountable for ensuring that high-value, long-lead equipment—such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, chillers, and CRAHs—moves from factory floor to energized systems on site without impacting the critical path. You will serve as the technical bridge between procurement, vendors, and onsite MEP teams to ensure seamless installation, startup, and commissioning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of OFCI equipment from factory testing through installation, startup, and commissioning
  • Track procurement milestones, logistics, and delivery using Just-In-Time strategies and a Master Equipment Log
  • Review submittals and BIM coordination to validate equipment footprints, weights, clearances, and connection points
  • Lead receiving, inspections, and QA/QC activities, including damage assessments and verification of documentation and spares
  • Act as the onsite point of contact for equipment vendors during installation and startup
  • Partner with scheduling, construction, and commissioning teams to align lead times and testing windows
  • Manage modularized and containerized systems such as power skids and prefabricated cooling solutions
  • Support commissioning (Level 3 and Level 4 testing), asset tracking, warranty documentation, and capital spares handoff

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in mission-critical or heavy industrial construction
  • Strong electrical and mechanical systems knowledge, including switchgear, UPS, generators, chilled water, and CRAH/CRAC systems
  • Experience coordinating long-lead, owner-furnished equipment in active construction environments
  • Proficiency with Procore or BIM 360 and construction scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Ability to work hands-on in active job sites and collaborate across vendors, trades, and internal teams

Nice to have:

PMP or LEED AP a plus

What we offer:
  • Hybrid work schedule
  • Industry-competitive compensation and Restricted Stock Units
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
  • 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%
  • Paid parental leave, life insurance, and disability coverage
  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedule
  • Cell phone and commuter reimbursement
  • Tuition reimbursement and Calm app subscription
