Seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the early-stage planning and civil design phases of new tower site development. This is a desk-based role focused on constructability, site feasibility, and pre-construction analysis-not field execution. This role is critical as the organization re-enters new tower builds after a prolonged period of limited greenfield development. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of civil and construction planning from site infancy, bridging RF design, real estate/site acquisition, and construction requirements to ensure sites are viable, buildable, and code-compliant before execution begins.
Job Responsibility:
Review and analyze raw land and early-stage site designs to assess constructability from a civil and construction standpoint
Interpret and evaluate topographical maps, geotechnical reports, A&E drawings, and survey data to identify risks, constraints, and design impacts
Assess drilling feasibility, soil conditions, and break test requirements for tower foundations
Provide constructability feedback during design development to influence tower layout, access, grading, and foundation strategies
Partner across RF Design, Real Estate/Site Acquisition, and Construction teams to align early planning decisions
Support all three design stages (RF, RE Site, and Construction), with strongest emphasis on Construction and Civil viability
Review network reads, construction drawings, and design packages to confirm alignment with build standards
Act as a construction SME during Site Acquisition by validating site selection assumptions and identifying downstream build risks
Apply working knowledge of IBC (International Building Code) and relevant OSHA safety standards to early site designs
Ensure A&E designs align with internal standards and real-world construction constraints
Identify early risks related to access, zoning, utilities, grading, or constructability and escalate appropriately
Requirements:
Experience in civil and construction planning from site infancy
Understanding of constructability, site feasibility, and pre-construction analysis
Knowledge of IBC (International Building Code) and OSHA safety standards
Ability to interpret topographical maps, geotechnical reports, A&E drawings, and survey data
Experience in cross-functional support across RF Design, Real Estate/Site Acquisition, and Construction teams
