Job Description

The Construction Logistics Coordinator will manage the planning, sourcing, purchasing, storing and controlling of materials, tools and heavy equipment for all jobs. We are looking for someone with excellent business acumen and the ability to minimize production costs through efficient procurement of materials. This individual will be responsible for the flow of materials to, though, and out on the job sites in a timely manner.

  • Provides technical evaluation of the marine vessels offered by CONTRACTOR to ensure that the proposed marine spread is in accordance with Company requirement and intended scope
  • Coordinates with the project’s offshore installation CONTRACTOR for the necessary inspections and ensures readiness for timely mobilization according to the project execution plan
  • Supports Head of Commissioning, Head of Construction and Project Team in providing technical evaluation for the proposed offshore marine support vessels during bidding stage
  • Organize and manage project logistics back charges and coordinate with the project manager, the cost department, and the contract department to facilitate the closure of the process
  • Coordinate with Company Marine, HSE and PTS to initial approval, inspection of CONTRACTOR proposed marine spread to ensure that the proposed marine spread is complying with COMPANY standards, specifications and marine regulations
  • Follow up with CONTRACTOR for timely close out of initial inspection punch items and coordinate with COMPANY Marine & Safety to initial close of punch items
  • Organize a final/follow-up inspection to ensure that all identified punch items are closed to the satisfaction of COMPANY Marine & Safety prior to mobilizing infield
  • Ensure that the Project Manager, Head of Projects, Head of Construction, Head of Commissioning and Senior Project Engineers are fully informed on all execution related issues and provide recommendations for resolutions
