This is a long-term contract role. Working Schedule: 6 days per week / 10 hours per day. Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice). Location: Qatar Onshore.
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process
Manages and ensures successful execution of mechanical and piping items fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate)
To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the mechanical items fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards
To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor
To review deviations to client construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities
Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required
Review Contractor’s progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any
To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all piping & mechanical subject, MC,Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting
To Participate to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential
To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering
8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry
1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel
Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions
