GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, is seeking a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management to join the Milwaukee team as an Intern, focusing on construction inspection activities. For the right student, we offer part-time hours during school, and full-time work during the summer of 2026.

Job Responsibility

  • Through training and mentoring, perform field inspections of roadway and utility construction including sewer, water, asphalt and concrete roadways, and other construction projects
  • Perform and review material testing of asphalt, concrete and aggregates
  • Complete accurate daily construction reports, manually or electronically
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

  • Be a current student, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or relatable degree
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
  • Be willing to work hard and learn, both while working independently and with a team
  • Be adaptable to changing priorities and have a willingness to take initiative
  • Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather as needed
  • Holder of a valid driver’s license
