Construction Estimator

• Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop detailed cost estimates
• Prepare budgets and forecasts to ensure financial accuracy for construction projects
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to align estimates with project goals
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to organize and present cost data effectively
• Generate leads from company-provided resources while proactively seeking additional opportunities through cold calling
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budget and timeline constraints
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports and documentation for stakeholders
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address project-related concerns

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for cost analysis and reporting
• Strong understanding of project management principles and construction processes preferred
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to generate leads through both company-provided resources and independent efforts
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in estimates and project planning

Someone with asphalt paving and construction experience is a plus
