Job Description:

We are partnering with a trusted construction firm in British Columbia looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Electrician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians with a strong understanding of electrical systems and compliance with the BC Electrical Code. Whether you’re looking for a temporary placement or a long-term career opportunity, we want to connect you with exciting roles in the construction industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Use tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical systems and resolve issues
  • Work closely with team members to ensure timely production and quality control
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues to ensure systems are operating at optimal efficiency
  • Install wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers according to blueprints and project specifications

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Certification or Journeyman Electrician Certification in British Columbia
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry as an electrician
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical diagrams
  • Knowledge of safety standards and BC Electrical Code
  • Ability to work in varying environments, including at heights or in confined spaces
