Job Description

Randstad is currently partnering with premier Tier 1 contractors who have secured major infrastructure and road development projects across Northern Tasmania. As a preferred labour hire provider, we are seeking experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious construction professionals for immediate and upcoming starts. We are actively recruiting for bulk vacancies in the following roles: Formwork Carpenters: Experienced in structural concrete works, civil infrastructure, and reading plans. Civil Plant Operators: Excavator, Roller, Loader, or Dozer tickets. MR/HR Truck Drivers: Experienced in civil haulage, tippers, and site deliveries. Experienced Civil Labourers: Confident with hand/power tools, site prep, and pipe laying. Traffic Controllers: Hold current Traffic Control and Traffic Management implementation tickets.

Requirements

  • White Card: Current Construction Induction Card
  • Applicable Licensing: High Risk licenses, plant tickets, or driving credentials relevant to your trade
  • Demonstrated Experience: Proven track record working in civil, construction, or road infrastructure environments
  • Transport: Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable form of transport to get to and from sites
  • Safety First Mindset: Willingness and ability to successfully pass a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
