Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for coordinating engineering related items between suppliers (including third parties), subcontractors, and Engineer of Record
  • Assist with scheduling work coordination and tracking percentage completion of work
  • Oversight of document control management for tracking all drawings
  • Review of subcontractor change order requests and potential back charge items
  • Writing and assisting discipline managers with preparation of request for information documents (RFI)
  • Responsible for following all aspects of specifications
  • Assist project management in working with customers
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field of study is recommended. A minimum of 5 years of field experience can also be substituted for the degree
  • Must be familiar with AISC and OSHA requirements
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Primavera, Procore and Viewpoint Spectrum
