As a Construction/Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the MEICA construction team, identifying and implementing a comprehensive coordination strategy throughout multiple project phases. Your expertise in logistics will be instrumental in building an operable and maintainable facility to meet the requirements of the new facilities expected operational life-time.
Job Responsibility
Undertake allocated installation work-scopes within the construction phase in compliance with the required management system, ensuring adherence to nuclear site license conditions
Champion a proactive and balanced approach to safety, encompassing nuclear, radiological, conventional, and environmental safety measures, optimizing safety during project delivery and for operations
Collaborate and interface with internal and external stakeholders across various project phases
Hold Suitably Qualified & Experienced Persons appointments or training to ensure successful achievement of project delivery targets
Attend line of site meetings & lift plan meetings to communicate necessary information for site deliveries, required laydown and plant movements
Report project delivery progress to the Logistics and Construction Manager as required
Ability to read and understand planned delivery schedules
Review subcontractor Risk Assessments & Method Statements and provide comments if necessary to ensure compliance
Carry out oversite and assurance that the correct documentation is in place prior to and during material and plant deliveries and movements throughout the installation and commissioning phase of the project
Input data and update project specific dashboards in relation to logistics
Take part in stakeholder meeting and provide input as necessary
Requirements
Background in Logistics and understanding of the care, maintenance and preservation of materials and plant
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel
Experience in reading and understanding of various levels of documentation i.e. materials and plant release forms and standard quality documents
Hold current validated CSCS card
Prior experience in the nuclear sector, with exposure to large-scale projects (Desirable)
Previous experience in Logistics (Desirable)
