Job Description

Airswift is seeking a Collection Superintendent to serve as the Owner's Representative overseeing EPC construction activities for electrical collection systems on utility-scale wind and solar projects. This site-based role is responsible for safety leadership, quality oversight, schedule execution, and cost tracking through circuit energization.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the Owner's Representative for all electrical collection system field activities
  • Lead and enforce site safety performance, including daily field inspections and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) reviews
  • Participate in POD and All Hands safety meetings, promoting safety best practices
  • Monitor environmental compliance and coordinate with environmental monitors
  • Act as liaison between the project team, landowners, and land agents to ensure agreement compliance
  • Interpret collection system drawings and specifications and resolve field-level issues
  • Review and respond to RFIs, escalating to Engineering as required
  • Ensure EPC contractor maintains red-line/as-built drawings and adheres to QA/QC programs
  • Track daily construction progress against the Schedule of Values (SOV) and support billing verification
  • Support energization planning, commissioning readiness, and schedule recovery efforts

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical construction or utility-scale renewable energy projects
  • Strong working knowledge of medium-voltage electrical collection systems and installation practices
  • Experience working directly with EPC contractors and subcontractors
  • Solid understanding of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and applicable construction safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction contracts
  • Proven field leadership, communication, and documentation skills
  • Proficient in construction reporting and project controls systems
  • Ability to work full-time on an active outdoor construction site
  • U.S. work authorization required
