Job Description:

One of the worlds largest insurers is looking for a technical claims handler to join their team in Glasgow. This role would ideally suit you if you have commercial property or construction/plant claims experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurately assess and evaluate ‘non-complex’ construction claims
  • Handle claims from end to end within limit of £50,000
  • Handle calls in an efficient and professional manner
  • Updating systems accurately
  • Keeping abreast of industry changes and regulations
  • Building strong broker and client relationships

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a technical/construction or commercial property Claims handling role
  • Experience in dealing with machinery, plant, construction or property claims is preferred, although not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
