Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Billing Clerk to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas within the Energy/Natural Resources industry. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who excels at managing billing activities, communicating clearly with customers and internal partners, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support invoicing operations, address account-related questions, and help ensure billing records remain current and reliable.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers and sales partners by providing responsive, clear communication regarding billing matters
  • Prepare and process invoices accurately and on schedule while supporting overall team productivity and service standards
  • Investigate billing questions and customer concerns, determine appropriate resolutions, and follow through to confirm issues are fully addressed
  • Use approved systems and reference materials to deliver complete and accurate account information in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with coworkers across related functions to support smooth billing workflows and associated account processes
  • Review, verify, and update job and account details in billing systems to preserve accurate and consistent records
  • Follow established communication guidelines, operational procedures, and company policies in all customer and internal interactions

Requirements:

  • Experience performing billing-related duties, including invoice preparation, billing statements, and account support
  • Working knowledge of billing systems and computerized billing environments
  • Ability to manage billing collections or assist with account follow-up with strong attention to detail
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams
