We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Construction Administrator to support our construction team. As a Construction Administrator, you will play a key role in coordinating documentation and supporting site teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with customer interaction. This role is the ultimate multi-taskers dream job, because it requires you to tackle different tasks and challenges on the go. It requires people who can think on their feet, navigate through problems, follow up stakeholders and get things done. This is a full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, at our Derrimut office.

Job Responsibility

  • Administration support to the on-site construction team
  • Conduct introduction calls with clients
  • Ability to establish strong networks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • General administration

Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and professional phone manner
  • Proficient with general office software and willing to learn industry-specific systems
  • Must have unlimited Australian work rights
  • Able to interview in person

  • Review and interpret construction documents and develop and issue sketches related to field conditions and issues, coordinate the work with consultants, owner’s consultants and the project team
  • Process, review and answer Request for Information and submittals within the contractual timeframes
  • Resolve problems which arise on the jobsite, coordinate bulletins to the contract documents, make recommendations, and consult Sr. Construction Administration Leadership on all issues related to the project
  • Monitor, review, and process closeout submittals and perform periodic QA/QC construction site visits, including substantial presence at the construction site
  • Coordinate with the Design team members as needed to interpret and process the documents noted above
  • Prepare daily and other reports as required by the contract
