The Construction Administrator is responsible for the overall management of construction projects to ensure adherence to specifications and contract documents. Maintain communication with the client regarding the progress and quality of work being performed by the Company.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain liaison between contractors, project managers, and consultants
Responsible to the client and Cromwell firm in meeting contractual obligations
Responsible for construction terms and agreements with clients and contractors
Monitors resources in a way that is compatible with company goals and objectives
Works with team members on multiple projects for major clients
Other duties as assigned
Some travel is required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
5+ years’ experience in engineering or a construction related field
Registered Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) License a plus
Must have a current valid Driver’s License
Experience in Cost estimating and construction processes
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications, for complex projects, to monitor contractors’ compliance with design intent, construction schedule and applications for payment
Excellent time management and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Registered Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) License
