Our client, a reputable construction-based organisation in Paisley, is seeking a dedicated Construction Administrator to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity for a skilled administrator to contribute to a thriving environment. The role requires a proactive and organised professional to handle various administrative tasks, ensure effective communication with site staff, and assist with invoicing and materials scheduling.

Job Responsibility:

  • Efficiently and professionally handle incoming telephone calls
  • Maintain communication with site staff regarding works and materials
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Manager to assist with purchase ledger and invoicing
  • Order materials as required
  • Schedule client appointments effectively
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely updates for clients
  • Perform fast and accurate data entry
  • Keep data up to date and easily accessible
  • Manage electronic filing, scanning, and mail responsibilities
  • Address any client correspondence as necessary
  • Prepare documentation using Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements:

  • Exemplary communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in office administration or business support
  • Ability to use initiative and meet tight deadlines
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
