We're hiring an experienced Construction Administrator to support the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical systems across a wide range of projects, including commercial, educational, religious, housing, and mission-critical projects. Job Responsibility

  • Provide construction-phase oversight and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure alignment with design intent and project goals
  • Conduct site visits and prepare detailed observation reports documenting progress, compliance, and deficiencies
  • Identify construction issues and collaborate with project teams to develop effective, practical solutions
  • Respond to RFIs and coordinate with contractors, architects, and stakeholders to maintain project momentum
  • Review and process pay applications, change orders, and related documentation for accuracy and timeliness
  • Support communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teams
  • Document existing conditions and relay critical field information to support design decisions
  • Serve as the Owner's Representative, helping ensure projects meet expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
  • Balance responsibilities between fieldwork and office tasks (approximately 50/50 split)

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in construction administration with a focus on mechanical and/or electrical building systems
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and system design considerations
  • Proven ability to produce clear, thorough site observation reports
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with construction management software and documentation tools
