Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Auburn, Washington. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy, as you will handle critical documentation and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative support, particularly within the construction industry, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist team members with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and properly filed
  • Perform thorough audits of data to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Handle submittals, claims, invoices, receipts, and expense tracking with precision
  • Conduct heavy data entry, transferring information to Excel and verifying accuracy
  • Organize and save digital and paper documents in shared systems
  • Follow up on missing documents and resolve outstanding issues promptly
  • Examine time punches for accuracy and provide necessary support
  • Utilize scanning tools to digitize paper records and integrate them into paperless systems
  • Collaborate with team members using Microsoft Outlook and Teams to streamline communication

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative support roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to handle extensive data entry and analysis
  • Familiarity with document control processes, including scanning and filing
  • Experience within the construction industry is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
